ANYWAY.
Ohmygod. It's been like 7 months since I've updated this thing, and I feel really bad about it. I've just been REALLY busy. School work has been piling up, and I've been losing interest in things that I iconed all the time. (I still love KH and such, I just haven't played it in forever)

GOOD NEWS:
KH2FM will be coming out soon in Japan, so that will spark some muse.
&
I've fallen in love with that show Heroes. I told myself I wouldn't. I would be an individual, be like no one else. Everyone else was watching it and I was all 'pft, I don't watch that shiattt.' Well yeah. I was sick for five days and had nothing to do so I watched a few episodes.

And now I'm hooked.

So yeah, I may make icons for that, or something.

I'm not gone. I'm still alive and well aware of my LJ. ^^; Everytime I see a new post from my email I always check to see, I just have not had the time to make new graphics for j00 all.

I'm going to try and blog a bit more about lifey boring things and maybe my icon muse will slowly be ressurected from Davy Jone's Locker.

I think I'm going to cosplay as someone with a weapon so I can bash anyone over the head if they spoil anytihng for me. X)
It'll be kind of funny though, I expect 50% of the people there will be walking around with their copies. I dunno if I'm going to bring mine, for fear of leaving it in the dealer's room or something.

SO YEAHZ.
I also may be going to Katsucon, which is cool.

Birthday

So yeah, today is my birthday!
Woooooo!
Zak, Annie, and I are going to see Lady in the Water. I wanted to see the Devil Wears Prada, but, it seemed like they wanted to see LitW more so I decided we'd go see that. The thing is, I get TERRIFIED in horror movies, so I'll see if I can make it out without hiding in my shirt.
And after that we're going to Sakura's.

And then four days later I'm going to CEDAR POINT!!!

For you lamers, Cedar Point is an amusement park with the second most coasters in the world. I've always wanted to go, but never been, so I'm really really excited. Only problem is the 9/10 hour drive. Blech.

And I know I havent made icons in FOREVER. You think with summer I'd have more time, but I dunno. D: I'll try, I'll try.

I doubt anyone reads the little blurbs I post about myself, but anyway, school is OUT! :D I'm so happy. A nice long summer to take a break from homework, etc. This year went by FAST. Way too fast, if you ask me...Anyway. So I decided to make two fanmixes for two of my favorite pairings! (Axel/Roxas, Riku/Sora.) 10 songs on each, and I think they turned out really well. :D I hope people will download them, cuz I'd love people to listen to the bands on them. I also have 7 icons! Wow it really has been a while...A few weeks! Well, I'm back bearing LOTS and lots of icons! These are a result of getting new screencaps, boredom, new brushes (lots of borders! I love borders!!), icon contests, and things like that. I really feel this is my best batch yet and I'm really proud of them! :D I hope you like them too!! I also am planning to start making Fruits Basket icons, which I just got into (fucking awesome manga/anime, yes!) Hope you'll look forward to those. Plus I plan on doing some Studio Ghibli icons soon (I hope. >_>) Anyway, enjoy!!

Yay! I have made new icons! I'm not sure what compelled me to do it. Probably a silent act of rebellion against doing my homework. I really should be asleep right now...Anyway! Yes, I made new icons! Unfortunately, no, there are no humor icons. I know that's the ones the people usually take, but I'm not in a very comical mood. I hope you'll like these anyway.

I was mostly trying out a new style (and some different techniques and stuff.) A lot of them are very simple, but I really like that about them, and I hope you do to!

Drive & Leveling Up Guide

So, I totally made a guide to Drives & Leveling Up. It's pretty damn useful, I'd say!

Medicatedsoaps/Katamariben's Quick & Easy Guide To Drives & Leveling Up

Welcome! Here is a fairly simple guide that can give you tips & tricks to leveling up you & yourself! I made this because, one, I was bored. And two, because it be something easy to link to if someone ever asks for tips! (Feel free to comment + give me your strategies, these were the ones that I found the easiest though.)

First off, theres a pretty good order you should do this in. It REALLY doesn't matter, but it helps.

1. Level up Valor
2. Level up yourself
3. Level up Wisdom
4. Level up Master
5. Level up Final
(Steps 3-5 don't have to be done in that order, by the way. Mostly just the first two.)

First off, I'm sure EVERYONE knows the Gummi Ship trick, but I'll do a short description for those who don't.

Basically, when in drive, if you go to a save point and board the Gummi Ship, then return, you’ll have a full drive bar. This is VERY useful, as without it, leveling up would take around twice as much time. If you get Anti-Form, or don’t reach the save point in time, you can travel over to the Olympus Coliseum, enter a cup, and immediately leave to fill your drive bar again.

Also, make sure that when driving (specifically leveling up), equip ALL drive abilities on, and make sure you’re using Oathkeeper! This’ll keep you in drive for a longer period of time.

Step 1. Valor
It's important to level up Valor before yourself because every time you hit a heartless, you get 1 EXP, and if you’re a high level, they’ll die quickly. While it SEEMS like a lot, it really isn't. With this strategy, I could usually score 140-200 hits per round, which is a good amount.

Place: The World That Never Was – Fragment Crossing (the second are, right after the Alleyway.) Anyone could argue different places, but I chose this place because of it’s never ending spawn of heartless.

Items: Make sure you equip the Kingdom Key or Sweet Memories keyblade equipped with Oathkeeper. This’ll allow you to score more hits.

Abilities: First, put on ALL combo pluses. Second, take OFF Explosion if you have it, you want to be able to follow up a combo with another quick combo. So basically, just put anything on that increases your combo unless it’s slow.

Other: That’s about it! It’s pretty straightforward. Enter Fragment Crossing, drive into Valor, and hit X as fast as possible! One thing that WILL get annoying is if they disappear into the ground, but there’s nothing you can do about it. Just try to kill the batch before they can.

Step 2. Leveling Up
Now for the next three forms, it’s a VERY good idea to be at a high level. At least 80/90. Now you’re probably thinking “JESUS CHRIST THAT’LL TAKE FOREVER!!” Wrong. I managed to get from level 58 to level 99 in 2-4 hours (I can’t remember exactly, but it wasn’t a ridiculously long time.)

Place: Pride Lands. Peak. If you don’t know where this is, go to the Kings Den, and to the other side of the room, then up to the peak. On the peak are a HUMONGOUS amount of heartless, TONS! But they only give you around 58 EXP. Problem? Nope.

Items: The Gull Wing keyblade. If you don’t know how to get this, speak to Yuna, Rikku, and Paine by the area outside of the room with the Tron computer (don’t kill me! I forgot the name! It’s right after the Restoration Area.) This gives you an Experience Boost. Also, get rid of any potions or healing items your party may have.

Abilities: Experience Boost. Enough said. Also, get rid of ANY healing abilities your current party has. If you’re unsure of what to unequip, just unequip everything (not from yourself though.) Having all Aerial Combo increases would help.

Other: It is VERY important that you’re in critical health. The only way the Experience Boost (& Gull Wing) will work is if you’re in critical health. That’s why it was so important to get rid of all potions and healing items. This way instead of 58 EXP, you get around 168 EXP. Yes, it is significant. To lose health, venture out to the Savannah, Wildebeest Valley, and the Wastelands and let enemies attack. Once you’re health bar starts flashing, don’t get hit anymore and return to Pride Rock immeaditly.

Once you’re up there make sure you customize yourself so that ALL you’re magic shortcuts are Magnega (no excuse, they should all be Magnega. No cure especially!!) Then cast Magnega and start slashing the enemies! From level 50-70 you can get a level in every round, and after that it’ll be slightly more tedious, but time will pass by faster than imaginable. Once you’re at a high level, I recommend hitting the majority, but once there are around 25 left, exit and return. It’ll be slightly quicker.

(It’s also worth noting in case you don’t feel like going to the Gummi Ship & back, that the enemies respawn EVERYTIME you exit/re-enter. Very quick and easy.)
If you get bored, you can start leveling your other drives. I recommend level 80-90 though.

Step Three. Wisdom. (SATANIC)
Wisdom form, in my opinion, is evil. I hate it. This IS biased. xD I dunno, it’s just a pain to level up.

Place: The World That Never Was – Fragment Crossing again. This is a MUST. No question about it. You get 1 EXP for every heartless you kill, and because this is where you will find respawning and fairly weak heartless, you need to go here. You could go somewhere else, but I really really recommend going here.

Items: Oathkeeper. That’s really it.

Abilities: Whatever you really want. Anything magic related may help (not really though.)

Other: Just attack. Try using Magnega, I’d say. If you're strong enough you may be able to kill each batch just by using Magnega. You’ll need to attack at some point though because your MP won’t last forever. I’m not positive on this though, because I was an idiot and didn’t realize I could do this (plus I was only like 60)

Step 4. Master.
This, personally is my favorite form to level up, and I think it’s the easiest! You get 1 EXP for every Drive Orb you pick up, they’re the yellow balls if you didn’t know.

Place: Land of Dragons. Go to the Throne Room save point. You COULD use the mountain peak, but I don’t recommend it. This way is about 5x quicker. I almost gained a level each time I went through the route (not always, but pretty close.) The other rooms you’ll have to go to are the Antechamber, the Palace Gate, and possibly the Imperial Square.

Items: Oathkeeper, and you’re strongest keyblade (hopefully you have Ultima Weapon, or Fenrir, but if you don’t use Oblivion) – Pretty straight forward.

Abilities: Surprisingly none are extremely important, just leave what you have on, I’d say. And combo boosts are quite handy too.

Other: Basically start from the Throne Room and enter the Antechamber. Kill each enemy in there and pick up the orbs. The first time you do this, you probably will just be able to kill the enemies there and make it back to the throne room, but you will definitely get to level 2. Repeat this. I’d say make your way to the Palace Gate when you can defeat all the enemies in the Antechamber with your drive gauge showing 2 or more. Make sure that you leave the Palace Gate once your drive gauge changes from 1 to 0. You MAY be able to make it to the Imperial Square, but it’s kind of pointless. You score around 10 extra kills, and it takes a while to get back. Go there if you have time, but I only did once.

Step Five. Final.
At first, when I saw that to level up Final Form you got 1 EXP for each Nobody you killed I was like “Oh, ok!” Then I tried. I got around 8 kills. I needed around 60. I gave up immeaditly, and focused on leveling up. Then I got smart. I realized that (at level 85), when I cast Magnega it killed the nobodies automatically. I didn’t have to attack AT ALL. The beauty of it was that they dropped tons of MP Orbs. This made Final Form EASY to level up.

Place: Twilight Town – Mysterious Tower. To get there, go to Central Station and board the Mickey Mouse train. When you first go, skip the enemies and go straight to the save point at the foot of the tower. This will be where you start from now on.

Items: Oathkeeper, and strongest keyblade. You NEED Oathkeeper. Final SUCKS up your Drive Gauge, and when you first start leveling up it will start getting annoying.

Abilities: Anything you want really. Anything that helps with your drives, I’d say. OH! Also make sure to have Draw on! You want to draw the MP Orbs, or else you won’t be able to use Magnega infinitely.

Other: First make sure that you have Magnega on your shortcut. Now, it’s time for leveling up! Yay! The fun part! Start off at the foot of the tower and EXIT! Jump off the right of stairs and avoid the batch of enemies by the door (if you do this right they won’t appear at all, if they do, kill them.) Make sure you’re ready to drive. When the 3 Dusk’s and the other Nobody appear, drive, and immediately cast Magnega, if you’re magic is as strong as it should be, they’ll all die without you having to use a keyblade. Move to the right and do the same to the enemies by the door. Enter again.

Here’s where it gets a bit tricky, when I first leveled up Final, I didn’t use the Magnega strategy. Thus I was only able to kill the enemies outside and the first two on the 1st Wayward Stairs. But, if you have strong Magic I say that you should be able to go quite farther. Try getting all the enemies on the 1st Wayward Staircase and then returning to the savepoint. When you’re level 2 and 3, I guess do whatever feels comfortable for you.

Now, when I was level 4 (and starting using the Magnega trick) I was able to go to the tippy top of the tower and kill MOST of the enemies (except on the last Wayward Stairs). So once you’re level 4, venture higher and higher, using Magnega along the way. Skip the last set of enemies though, and go straight to the Sorcerer’s Loft and board the Gummi Ship. Overall, I think you kill 30ish Nobodies. Around that. It may not seem like a lot, but it really is. Continue. Once you’re level 5/6, you should be able to kill all the enemies, including the Beserker’s in the last section.

First off, I would like to point off that my subject title rhymes. I consider that very very cool. Anyway.

Anyway so I felt like making some icons. Not sure why, probably a bunch of ideas started popping into my head and this was the result. I think I was looking at some AMAZING icons. Unfortunately, unlike the ones I was looking at, mine turned out like crap. REALLY crappy. I don't know why, they just...did. Blerg!! I really don't expect anyone to use any of them. Even the ones I tried to make funny, were not funny. Oh well. I tried. ;_;

I'd like to say this is a VERY spoilerish batch. They contain spoilerish scenes from TWTNW and some very spoilerish scenes in Twilight Town. It also contains one image from the ending. So if you don't want to get spoiled, run, run away! Far away!!

Well, I said yesterday I would make some icons, so, I did, yo. Thanks to everyone who commented on my previous ones! Comments make me smile. Anyway, it's worth noting that three of these icons contain spoilers (two have pictures from the ending, and the other reveals something about Roxas that you probably wouldn't want to know if you haven't played the game. It's nothing REALLY major though.) So be warned, and don't complain that I didn't warn you. Anyway, HERE WE GO! (ohmygosh this is so exciting.)

Yeah! I was bored, and I hadn't used photoshop in a while, so I decided to do some icons! I made 10 for now, and plan on doing more later. And yes, there are some Riku/Sora ones (of course!) I really don't think I'm very good at icons, but I'm trying to get better! I plan on making more soon, but I'm pretty tired. Oh! And these contain images from the the KH2 Ending, so if you don't want to spoil yourself, run away!
